“Okean Dobra” is one of the few social adaptation centers for people with disabilities in Ukraine.

People with limited mobility are evacuated here every day from the areas of hostilities. People live in the “Okean Dobra” for some time, recovering from what they experienced and undergoing the necessary rehabilitation, and then move on to safer regions to wait for the end of hostilities.

People’s living conditions constantly need to be improved, because the premises where the center is located are quite old. Thanks to cooperation with the “Ukrainian Educational Platform” BO and Danish and Norwegian partners – DanChurchAid and Kirkens Nødhjelp – we are constantly trying to improve the lives of people who need help.

The other day, the replacement and installation of about 90 windows in one of the buildings of the center was completed. Until then, the room was constantly blown out, which had negative consequences on people’s well-being.
